The Old Rectory is approached up a 200 metre gravelled drive with parking in front of the house. A slight rise of some 20 metres leads up to the double front doors width 115 cms which has a step of 16 cms. The entrance hall leads to an inner hall with a flight of 17 shallow stairs 20 cms deep and 80 cms wide with a curved banister and doors to the bedrooms. There are no ground floor bedrooms. *The three bedrooms have carpets and rugs, plentiful lighting and power points and ensuite bathrooms *Teatrays are provided and complimentary bottled water *Small CTVs with remote controls are provided in the bedrooms *A removable ramp is available for access into the house *Assistance can be given with luggage on request *Taxis can be arranged on request *There is a ground-floor cloakroom with door width of 72 cms and toilet height of 45 cms *Assistance dogs are welcomed by prior arrangement *The breakfast room and drawing room are situated off the main hall and access is via doorways 80cms wide The owners are happy to assist in any way whenever possible Rectory Cottage is approached up a 200 metre gravelled drive and parking is in front of the main house on a gravelled parking area. Access to the cottage is up a level concrete path 84cms wide between the garage and the main house which leads into the cottage garden. There is a raised drain hole at the beginning of this path. Entrance to the cottage is via a porch and stable door 82cms in width into the sitting room which has a level slate floor and large rug *The sitting room, dining area and kitchen are of an open-plan design with a gas wood-burner effect stove, 2 sofas, tables, chairs etc *Kitchen work tops height is 90 cms with a built-in fridge and dishwasher and double oven with drop-down doors, electric 4 ring hob and microwave *2 steps 22cms in height and 70 cms in width lead up to the slate-floored corridor which accesses the bedrooms and bathrooms which all have doors 70 cms in width *There are 2 bedrooms with wooden floors and rugs – one room has a double and single bed and the other has two single beds *Bath height 540 cms and toilet height 450 cms *Shower room has walk-in shower with a step in 220 cms in height, small basin and toilet *Non-feather pillows and duvets with polycotton covers and sheets. *Electricity slot meter is 250 cms above floor level. *Garden is gravelled with concrete paths leading to the *Laundry room has a step up of 13 cms with standard size sink unit, washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer *Ample light switches and power points at a sensible height *A regular bus service stops 50 metres from the end of the drive The owners live on site and are available to assist whenever possible. |
